THANKSGIVING at the COAST

Wednesday, November 24:  Our charter bus will pickup along the route, dependant upon where the sign-up comes from.  If there are folks from Albany area, Salem, then we go north to Salem before heading to the coast.  If there are Albany area folks and Corvallis folks, but none from the Salem area, then we will head through Albany and Corvallis to the coast.  If no one goes from areas north, we will head west through Florence, then to Yachats.  We spend two nights at the OVERLEAF LODGE just north of Yachats. 
  They feature a full spa here with a sauna, & a hot tub
which has an ocean view.  You can literally sit and soak and watch the surf at the same time.  They also have wonderful walking trails along the shoreline.  One direction takes you to a beach area while the other one follows along to the Adobe Inn.  They also include a nice breakfast bar in the mornings.  All rooms are ocean-view rooms.  There are a number of places to gather for socializing.
  Tonight we will enjoy gathering in their special EVENT CENTER where we will have a special catered dinner.  Afterwards, we have use of the center for socializing and fun and games.  (D)

Thursday, November 25, THANKSGIVING DAY:
Breakfast is included in the lobby area.  Later today we will board our bus to transfer to

THE ADOBE INN for Thanksgiving Day Dinner.  (B, D)

  Friday, November 26:  We will have something today on our route home, but we will have to wait for directions from YOU as to the route we take coming back.
