Thursday, September 24:  We head north through Portland, Olympia and Seattle to Bellingham for a 4 night stay at HAMPTON INN/Bellingham.  This hotel features a wonderful breakfast each morning as well as milk & fresh baked cookies each evening.

 
Friday, September 25:  We make a day-trip to Anacortes, WA, to board the Washington State Ferry with our bus for a tour of San Juan Island. We will have time for Friday Harbor as well as other sites around the Island. 
NOTE:  This is a change since we recently recieved notice that Harrison Hot Springs in not likely to hold their Sand Sculptures event this year. (B)

Saturday, September 26:  Our bus takes us to the harbor in Bellingham for an all day cruise to VICTORIA, B.C. via the San Juan Islands.  We will have about 5 hours to explore Victoria.  This change was brought on by failure of negotiations by the boat company and Roche Harbor and the Park Ranger.  Instead the boat company decided to offer the Victoria Cruise instead.   There is an included Northwest salmon & chicken buffet on our way back to Bellingham. Sunday, September 27: We make another day-trip into Canada.  This time we visit Vancouver B.C. for sites which include Queen Elizabeth Gardens,

Gas Town, Stanley Park and more.  (B)

Monday, September 28: We make a stop at Seattle's water-front

as we head for home.  (B)
