Thursday, September 16: Our charter bus takes us north along I-5 through Portland and into Washington State with a destination for today of MT. RAINIER NATIONAL PARK.  We spend the night at the newly remodeled PARADISE LODGE.  You will have some free time here to enjoy the lodge and the trails outside.  We hope for a clear day so you can thoroughly enjoy the splendor of Mt. Rainier.  DINNER is included tonight. (D)

Friday, September 17:  After our included BREAKFAST, 

we head back down the mountain and  stop for a ride on

the MT RAINIER RAILROAD where we will enjoy

the scenery and an included BBQ LUNCH. 

Later we check-in at our home for the night,

TIMBERLINE LODGEin Castle Rock, WA. (B, L)

Saturday, September 18: Our first stop of the day will be at the Visitor Center

for Mt. St.Helens.  There areinteresting displays and perhaps a movie here. 

Later we head up the mountain to

JOHNSTON'S RIDGE CENTER,

closest viewpoint to the

crater of Mt. Saint Helens. 

We also hope to make a stop at the

FOREST LEARNING CENTER in

the Park before we head for home.
