Tuesday, December 2: Our route takes us north through Portland into Washington and through Olympia and Tacoma. Then we head over the Cascades for a 3 night stay at Leavenworth, WA. at the OBERTAL MOTOR INN. This hotel has three floors and NO ELEVATOR but is located right in the heart of town. You literally walk right into one of the shopping centers just steps from your room. Lunch is included on the first day of travel.
Wednesday, December 3: We start the day's activities with a visit to RED TAIL CANYON RANCH for a horse-drawn sleigh ride. Lunch is included at the Tumwater Inn back i n town. This evening we enjoy the music of BRONN JOURNEY and his concert harp. His lovely wife will no doubt have a solo or two. (B, L)
Thursday, December 4: There will be an optional tour to Cashmere this morning to visit the Aplets & Cotlets Factory and later a local fruit stand as we head back to Leavenworth. Your afternoon is free for exploring the delights of Leavenworth. Dinner is included tonight at King Ludwig's. There will be great food and German Music to enjoy. (B, D)
Friday, December 5: We head for home after breakfast, traveling over Blewett Pass, through Yakima and back into Oregon at Biggs Jct. We have lunch included in The Dalles before coming on down the Columbia River to Portland and then home.
