HIGH DESERT/DINNER TRAIN
Sometime Again in the Future

INCLUDED: Escort, Charter bus from Eugene area, admissions, accommodations, luggage handling (1 bag p.p.) 2meals. 

Our route takes us over the Willamette Pass

to visit theHigh Desert Museum just south of Bend.  We spend several hours here. They have wonderful art displays and other features inside and terrific animal exhibits outside, including interpretive shows. They also have a nice lunch counter here for you to eat lunch.

 Mid-afternoon we head for Redmond and check-in for the night at the Best Western Rama Inn.  They have an indoor pool and spa feature a complimentary continental breakfast in the morning.

Dinner tonight will be on the Crooked River Dinner Train. We board about 6:00 p.m. and return around 9:30 p.m.

 Bring some fake jewels and play money to surrender to the bandits that are apt to hold-up the train sometime during the evening

. Thursday, August 23: After a night's rest we head for home with a stop in Sisters, OR. You will have time to shop the stores and find lunch on your own before we head over the Cascades via Santiam Pass and the Clear Lake cut-off to follow the McKenzie River back to the Eugene area.
