The daily itinerary:

  Sept. 13: Amtrak to Seattle with transfers to

our hotel.  The hotel features a nice evening

Happy Hour w/food.

  Sept. 14: A mini-city tour of Seattle will also transfer you to the Island Princess, your home for the next 6 nights.  Cruise north from Seattle, transit government locks, enjoy narrated tour as we cruise along Whidbey Island.  Evening at Penn Cove at Coupville, WA.

  Sept. 15:  Enjoy Coupville museum and town.  Spend the afternoon whale-watching and searching for sea life.  Port call at Friday Harbor.  Evening at Captain's choice of ports.  Enter Canadian waters.

  Sept. 16: Explore Canada's gulf islands and scenic inlets.  We're bound for Princess Louisa Inlet, listed as one of the 10 most scenic places on earth.  Anchor overnight in sight of Chatter Box Falls.

  Sept. 17: A day to relax and explore.  Visit Chatterbox Falls and Malibu Camp, kayak or just relax.  Steak cookout tonight.

  Sept. 18: Cruise west for the seaport village of Nanaimo, B.C.  Enjoy maritime views and shipping as we transit the Georgia Straits.  Order off the menu at the Dinghy Pub tonight, a Protection Island favorite.

  Sept. 19: Cruising south from Nanaimo we transit the Dodd Narrows.  Enjoy cruising through the Canadian Gulf on the way to San Juan Island for another stop at Friday Harbor and U.S. Customs.  We may anchor locally or head on into Port Townsend for our last night on board.

  Sept. 20: Enjoy a guided walking tour of downtown Port Townsend.  Arrive back in Seattle mid-afternoon.  Transfer to our hotel.

  Sept. 21: Transfer to AMTRAK and train south to home.
