This trip combines a Hot Air Balloon Adventure
with the Air Museum in McMinneville.
Tuesday, September 11: We visit the local winery that is featured in tomorrow's Champagne Brunch. There is an optional charge if you wish to sample the wines. We overnight at the Shilo Inn/Newberg. Dinner is on your own.
Wednesday, September 12: We have an early morning date where the Vista Balloon Adventures to watch and participate in filling the balloons. When this is complete, it's up, up and away. Our ride lasts about an hour or so, depending on the wind currents. After returning to the staging area, we enjoy a wonderful Champagne Brunch.
NOTE: There is an alternate price for those who do not wish to fly. You can watch and wait for the return and enjoy the brunch. There is a limited number allowed to do this however.
After our breakfast, we travel to the Air Museum near McMinnville where the Spruce Goose resides. We enjoy a guided tour of the museum.
There should also be time to enjoy an optional movie at the NEW ImaxTheater as well as eat your lunch. (B)
