Death Valley Retreat
Sometime Again in the Future

  Plan on getting away for awhile to some warmer weather.  It's a snow bird trip in miniature.
  Our route takes us down I-5 to Mt. Shasta, then over the mountain to Susanville, CA where we spend our first night at the High Country Inn.  (D)
  They have an expanded continental breakfast included the next morning before we depart.  Our route today takes us through Reno and Carson City, NV, ending our second day in Bishop, CA at the B/W Bishop Holiday Lodge.  They also feature an expanded continental breakfast in the morning. (B)
  Continuing on to Death Valley National Park, our route takes us into the park from the west passing Stove Pipe Wells and the Sand Dunes/Devil's Cornfield areas and  most likely will visit Scotty's Castle and Ubehebe Crater before heading on into the Furnace Creek Ranch for a 4 night stay. (B)
  Next morning, a breakfast buffet is included, then a 1/2 day guided tour of the lower valley, including the Devil's Golf Course, Bad Water and more. (B)
  The following day will be mostly a chance to relax, perhaps go for a swim in the heated pool, play a round of golf, go for a walk, visit the visitor's center or whatever you like.  A lunch will be included at Furnace Creek Resort on the hill. (L)
  Our last full day in Death Valley will be another day of relaxation except for the included dinner tonight.  It will be at the Steakhouse or by the golf course, depending on the weather. (D)
  As we depart Death Valley,another breakfast buffet is included.  Our route today takes us in a northerly direction through Beatty and Tonopah, Hawthorne, Fallon, and on to Reno where we spend the night at the Sands Regency.  You will have a meal credit with your keys + some play money. (B)
  Heading toward home the final day will route us through Susanville, Mt. Shasta, Weed and over the Siskiyou Mtns. into Oregon and home via I-5.
