We plan on eating our box lunches at Sunset Beach, then visiting Cape Argo and Shore Acres State Park.  Relax and enjoy the ride.  Perhaps the elk will be out as we pass their viewing area just before Reedsport. 
 Sunset Beach is a lovely protected area with nice beach to walk.  Cape Argo viewing point is great for seeing the might of the Pacific Ocean while Shore Acres State Park is a lovely garden area with lots of flowers, bushes and a wonderful pond.  Take your time and really enjoy yourself.
